Artisan 835 - I can't set it up as FAX machine,''

My Artisan 835 has printed and scanned just fine for years.
Now I have a need to send and maybe receive a few faxes.
I cannot find a way to set up the printer software to allow me to
send/receive a few faxes.
I tried a complete uninstall/reinstall- still won't do a fax.
Looks like it needs a program epfxset.exe. I have it there with the
program, but clicking on it does no good.
The various Google hits seem of little help,
I have the printer's LINE hub connected to the telephone, and its EXIT
hub connected to the phone connect on the wall.
Any suggestions will be apreciated.

Gee - works fine for me.
There is a FAX choice right on the printer's screen. Shud need no
software.
